Raspberry pi 3 fldigi4/17/2023 ![]() I think that flarq would work well for that. The best use for them would be to can message traffic, and send it in burst mode. I still type with 2 fingers, so I would need to have a buffer to fill, to used the digital modes well. I was humbled!! I don't normally get into contests, but I have been on the receiving end of a few pileups. ![]() I have no idea how fast it was, but I think that it was over 60wpm. I had to ask him what was said so that I could log it. All I heard was a buzz, and was amazed that there were many stations answering him. He used a bug, and he took the weight off it. Jim Brooks was his name, but I don't remember his call, it was a w4. I remember working Bermuda field day with a Navy radioman. I can get it up to about 21wpm but still got my ears burned a few times (a few?). I used to like to go down to the novice bands and have fun with it. It stays put nicely, and as my wrist loosens up, my speed just keeps increasing. ![]() I mounted it on a 3/4 inch thick block of plexiglass and glued felt to the bottom. I use an old straight key that I purchased in the 60's. He wrote on the card that he was amazed that a dx station would continue a 20m cw contact for over an hour. Amazing!Ĭlick to expand.Yeah, I just watched the video again, and now I understand your comment. I could see it on the waterfall, dropped the curser on it, and BANG there it was. I have had solid printout from a PSK31 signal that did not move the s meter, and I could not hear even with my headphones. I have always bragged that a CW signal could get through when phone is not even heard, but I have to tell ya, I am impressed with the newer digital modes. What do you think? This combination would be great in a go box for disaster traffic, if we can get it to work.Īs far as the power output being 100MW, you may be surprised what that will do. Perhaps I should work on this problem before going any further. Unfortunately, I have not had another chance to play with it yet, but it has aroused my curiosity. It also did not decode the 60WPM cw signal, so I tried 21WPM, Nothing decoded! Rats, just when I discover a new toy to play with, it doesn't work. I was playing with it using the output of my Drake R4B, and I notice that when I dropped the curser on a signal, it would drift down from the one I selected, and eventually to the bottom of the range. For this i installed Fldigi and WSJT-X on my iMac under OS-X and Windows 10 (Parallels Desktop). Core usage is around 22 on mostly cores 1 and 3. Lynyrd skynyrd discography4/17/2023 ![]() The band gained worldwide recognition for its live performances and signature songs "Sweet Home Alabama" and "Free Bird". Originally formed in 1964 as My Backyard in Jacksonville, Florida, the band was also known by names such as The Noble Five and One Percent, before finally deciding on "Lynyrd Skynyrd" in 1969. The best tribute to pay to the dead members, even thirty or forty years after this disastrous event, is obviously to listen again to this masterpiece impervious to the whims of time.Lynyrd Skynyrd (pronounced / ˌ l ɛ n ər d ˈ s k ɪ n ər d/ LEN-ərd- SKIN-ərd ) is an American rock band best known for popularizing the Southern rock genre during the 1970s. ![]() An uncontested success which will definitively put Lynyrd Skynyrd on the robust pedestal of the inevitable sure values of Southern Rock. The destiny has thus decided and "Street Survivor" will remain forever the most paradoxical record of the band. It was not until 1991 that a new album was released under the Lynyrd Skynyrd banner. The group who has been playing together since 1964 was more than exhausted and had to take a good ten years off before coming back on stage. A long period of silence followed for Lynyrd Skynyrd, although the survivors tried with more or less success to set up some solo projects (Gary Rossington, Artimus Pyle, Allen Collins).Īs a unique studio testimony of the Ronnie Van Zant / Steve and Cassie Gaines era, "Street Survivor" definitely marks the end of a great epic for Southern rock. The other musicians were seriously injured. Ronnie Van Zant, Steve Gaines and his sister Cassie Gaines as well as the manager of the time Dean Kilpatrick. Three members of the group died on the spot. However, only three days after the release of "Street Survivor", whose illustration only foreshadowed the worst, some would say after the accident, on this sinister October 20, 1977, the plane transporting the group crashed in a swampy area of Mississippi. This creative and festive effervescence did not suggest the tragic fate of a band in full revival. His compositions fit perfectly into the repertory of Lynyrd Skynyrd, especially "I Never Dreamed". Steve Gaines' touch invigorated the whole band. Billy Powell reveals himself in great form by indulging in rock'n'roll piano solos. Faithful to its reputation, Lynyrd Skynyrd swings with force and conviction the sulphurous "You Got That Right". The languorous and almost gospel-like "One More Time" marks a slight pause, while a real anthology dedicated to Rock with a capital R is emerging. The brassy atmosphere of "What's Your Name" will make it the introductory song of the shows that Lynyrd Skynyrd will give again at the end of the 80s. The guitars rock all over the place around the masterful "That Smell" whose chorus gives the best part to the three female singers now integrated in the band. I might as well say it right away, the eight tracks that make up "Street Survivor" are true Southern Blues Rock standards. The almost regular producer of the Allmann Brothers Band has managed to bring a touch of modernity to the sound of Lynyrd Skynyrd. Indeed, Al Kooper has taken his leave, replaced by a sound engineer particularly aware of the Southern rock in the person of Tom Dowd. Without really talking about a turning point in the band's career, "Street Survivor" has already got a new sound. The guitarist Steve Gaines has earned his stripes during the band's numerous concerts and "Street Survivor" will easily confirm that this new recruit is a decisive element in the success of this sixth album.Īlready a gold record in pre-order only, this major opus, as much in Lynyrd Skynyrd's discography as in the world of rock in general, marks a necessary evolution for the Jacksonville combo. After the tour that gave birth to "One More From The Road", Lynyrd Skynyrd Hhas released a new studio album at his usual pace.

Google blocks seo spyglass4/17/2023 In a perfect world, with a perfect budget, I recommend getting both automatic and semi-automatic SEO tools – as real world link building & seo is about both.SEO SpyGlass Privacy Policy What personally identifying information does collect? Semi-automatic yet very effective as you are building not only links but relationships with webmasters in your niche + still getting natural links. Once you’ve found such links, you can use these tools to track how much traffic each backlink brings. But it is up to you which links to target for your own link building. Such tools help you find and rate links from niche-relevant sites (and if you are still iffy about your niche, Rank Tracker is a first before you do anything else with any other tool). Some programs like Xrumer are for 100% automated link creation while others like LinkAssitsant or SEO SpyGlass are semi-automatic if you can call it that. – Thirdly, you can control the level of automation you do with SEO tools. So you see, in real life it is not about white hats or black hats – it’s about juggling somewhere in between trying to please both search engines and people. Outsource your link creation to automated link builders – and you may get into hot water with SE’s for building links “unnaturally”. Do just handwork – and you may take forever to build links. – Secondly, in real-life SEO (and I mean REAL, not some pretty rosy stories and tips in SEO guides by Google) people do a healthy mix of automated and hand-made link building. ![]() So you see, SEO is not just about automated link building. If your site looks like a junkyard and spam – then what’s the point of being on page one in the first place? You need to do onpage SEO, write a nice website copy and compel the reader to read, buy, subscribe, or whatever it is you want him/her to do. But imagine you getting on page 1 (quite possible with this type of tool) and having REAL people click on your site. – Firstly, if you rely on Xrumer exclusively – you are augmenting your site’s popularity, primarily among search engines. But I also think that this type of automation is not for everyone (not at the beginner seo levels thats for sure) and that there is a horde of other activities that must be done and SEO tools that must be used in addition to it. JastebolI personally think that Xrumer is a great tool for what it does (ie automated linkbuilding). You will probably go through quite a few tools and make a few blunders as you go but SEO is all about experiments – so keep on trying, measure, test, see what works for you and your niche. You can completely automate backlink building by using tools like seonuke but you can also use backlink checker tools like seo spyglass or services like majestic to find competitor backlinks and go after competitors’ best links. You can spin original articles (with article spinners or by hand – your choice) and submit their multiple versions on the web in directories of lower quality. For instance, you can write quality articles and submit them to quality article directories to attract users and leave your links. I guess it is up to you how much of SEO and link building you want to automate and as will all things you have to find a golden mean somewhere. My take is that at the end of the day all SEO tools are black hat and not to use them at all is not an option in my opinion, if you are looking for a massive SEO impact. ![]() Quite a few people actually stay away from it as it creates spammy link wheels which could boost your SEO (again, if you know what you are doing) yet are not beneficial to the end user. JastebolPerhaps seonuke but be very very careful – you have to know seo inside out to come up with an effective backlink strategy with this tool. Each found link is analyzed against 40+ important SEO metrics, such as:Īlso, with SEO SpyGlass you can have an overlook of competitors’ link building strategies within 1 convenient workspace.īesides, SEO SpyGlass lets you monitor and verify all your existing backlinks to keep track of how your link-building campaign is progressing. The tool collects backlink data from over 160 international and local search engines and its exclusive multi-million in-house backlink database. ![]() With this high-end competition research app you can discover quality link sources and use them to boost your website rankings. ![]() This tool can be used to discover new link sources or manage your existing backlinks. Bed bath and beyond blue bedding4/17/2023 ![]() Bed Bath & Beyond rushed to replicate that success in months - right as the pandemic began. This strategy had worked like a charm at Target, perfected over years. As Bed Bath CEO, he pushed to declutter stores and close 200 underperforming ones, to weed out national brands and launch Bed Bath's own labels, like Everhome and Nestwell. In 2019, Mark Tritton arrived from Target. A high-profile new CEO pursued a big idea: Bed Bath would launch its own brands In the late 2010s, sales started dropping and a series of turnarounds began. But its heart remained in its stores, with their stacks of cookware, walls of trashcans and piles of pillows. The next thing you know, we were carrying diamond jewelry like Costco does."īed Bath & Beyond whipped up a dizzying website. We need to be the destination with everything.'. "The next conversation would be, 'We need to be more competitive with Amazon. the destination for home, more upscale, home decor, more furniture,' " said Laskin, who left Bed Bath in 2017. "I would go into one meeting and it would be, 'We need to be. Bed Bath & Beyond spent years seeking - and never really finding - its online identity. And I thought, this will never sell anywhere else." But the stores eventually became part of the problemĪs online and mobile shopping exploded, Amazon, Target, Wayfair and others put up formidable competition. ![]() "Right when you walk in the doors was this wild, brightly colored, Disney-themed stuff - it was so Miami. "I remember seeing it very distinctively when I visited a Miami store," said Amy Laskin, a former Bed Bath content marketing executive. Yes, there was the iconic blue 20 percent off coupon that's so ever-present that even mobster Whitey Bulger had one in his kitchen drawer.īut the chain had another secret sauce behind the scenes: Unlike most retailers, Bed Bath & Beyond let local managers choose what to sell in each store, catering to local tastes. Even during the Great Recession, when many retailers folded, Bed Bath seemed to only grow.ĭonate Now Heart Its stores had secret powers that shoppers loved It had hoovered up rivals, BuyBuy Baby and World Market. How did this once-vaunted retail behemoth get here?Īs recently as 2018, Bed Bath & Beyond had over 1,500 stores. "You know, our best guess is that it comes in somewhere in between," Katz said. "It sort of looks like a decision tree from where it is now," Morningstar analyst Jaime Katz said: Will Bed Bath & Beyond reimagine itself and pull away from the brink, like Best Buy? Or will it continue to patch holes only to keep sinking, like Sears? The home-goods giant faces persistent speculation of a protracted but looming demise as it prepares to report its latest financial results on Thursday morning. Suppliers began hesitating about sending more stuff to Bed Bath, worried they won't get paid. It's hard to overstate the bumpiness of the rollercoaster ride that Bed Bath & Beyond has been on this year: its rise and crash as a meme stock, a leadership shakeup, trouble with suppliers, a turnaround to trump a previous turnaround, store closures, job cuts, and the shocking news of its financial chief's death. What ensued was what's become a familiar timeline of a rudderless retailer: The company announced closures of another 150 stores and job cuts for a fifth of its corporate and logistics staff. Then, just as suddenly, Cohen sold his entire stake. CEO Tritton and other leaders were ousted. The retailer played catch up, racing to roll out pandemic necessities like curbside pickup.Įarlier this year, activist investor Ryan Cohen of Chewy and GameStop fame bought a stake in the company, prompting his followers on Reddit and YouTube to pump up Bed Bath's stock. ![]() The new-brands turnaround strategy exacerbated the industry-wide supply chain crisis, leaving top products like KitchenAid mixers missing from Bed Bath's shelves. The pandemic was a boon for home goods, but Bed Bath & Beyond missed out Shoppers were already wary of visiting stores, so many never got to check out the new labels some found them lacking and began complaining that they missed familiar brands. ![]()

![]() ![]() The player again plays the Stranger, but this time the ultimate goal is not to defeat an evil villain – instead a path of Virtue has to be followed and a virtuous life led. The people need this paragon of virtue called the Avatar. However, there is one thing still missing: a role-model to be an example of the Eight Virtues. In the now united kingdom, the people search for spiritual enlightenment now that they are enjoying an age of prosperity. With the end of the Triad of Evil and, therefore the Ages of Darkness, a new age has begun for Sosaria, which now is Britannia – the " Age of Enlightenment". Spoiler warning: Plot and/or ending details follow. Instead, the player must prove to be a "good guy." The whole system of virtues in this game changes the RPG experience. The killing and thievery of the three earlier games is now strongly discouraged. The most significant improvement for the game's creator is the plot, where the player has to follow a path of Virtue to win. The number of items to be found has risen, and the total party size is expanded to eight. Cities, castles and dungeons are much more detailed, as is the wilderness. The puzzles are more complex, and more information has to be gathered to solve the game. The people of Britannia can talk interactively. ![]() The game became much more complex and deep with this installment, compared to Ultima III.

Polar grit x4/17/2023 ![]() Swimming - Not super accurate lane tracking, still keeping to my old system of manually tracking with an abacus. Sports tracking: Running - great gps tracking, love having access to pace on my wrist and being able to control music without pulling up my phone. ![]() Just waiting for temperatures to get a little warmer. I am yet to test tracking for open water swimming, which is one of the main reason for getting it. GPS: Great tracking, get the same length as my phone usually would track for my runs, and for biking I get the same distance as my bike computer. I have made a few scratches on the bezel/case, nothing you will see unless you look for it. Looks: Love it, went with Nordic Copper as black was just a little plain to me and this watch is also functioning as my daily wear. Did not use a fitness tracker (except phone) before. GPS workout time is really good though, more than I will ever need.Ĭoming up on owning mine 6 weeks as well. This is a case of 'ouch', coming from a Fenix 6X :-), I'm definitely getting used to charging more often. Polar claim 7 days of standby time but with GPS-based workouts every other day, this easily shrinks to 4-5 days. For me it's certainly acceptable, but my Fenix 6 definitely feels a bit faster. The touchscreen isn't terribly responsive, and the firmware on the whole feels a bit laggy at times. For me it's ok but if visibility is important to you, test this first. The display is a bit dim, and I suppose the sapphire lens isn't helping either. I personally like this approach better that Garmin's overloaded watch faces.ĭisplay. Navigation works well in combination with Komoot you get TBT notifications at relevant points during the course. This kinda surprised my, I assumed GPS accuracy to be merely 'OK' as with many recent watches. GPS accuracy generally produces smooth results in my case and seems a tiny bit better than on my Fenix. In addition, the strap feels different from the plastic bands of other brands and looks good too. I realize this is subjective, but I really like the size and the premium look of the Grit X Pro. Hope my experience may be useful for those are looking into this watch. So far, I have used the Grit X Pro for running, trail running, hiking, road biking and mountain biking. Before that, I used a Vantage V so I was already familiar with the Polar ecosystem. ``````i used a Garmin Fenix 6X PS before this watch (I still have it, I loved it too). I really like the watch even though it has a few shortcomings. So I have had a Polar Grit X Pro (Black DLC) for about 6 weeks now and I thought I'd share my experiences with this watch so far.

"I felt that obviously it's hugely heartening that one of the most recognized and revered Canadians believes in the prime minister and believes that we're serious about this project," she told reporters yesterday (August 21).
